MAN NG272 - Häufig gestellte Fragen

Hier nun endlich die Sammlung der Antworten auf die häufigst gestellten Fragen bzgl. des MAN NG272 von uns.

Wann kommt er raus? - Alte OMSI-Regel: Wenn er fertig ist. Release-Termine werden ja doch nie eingehalten.

Freeware/Wieviel kostet er? - In welchem Rahmen er veröffentlicht wird, steht noch nicht fest, somit auch nicht, ob oder wieviel er kosten wird.


Gibt es auch den NL202 dazu? - Wissen wir noch nicht. Der BVG-NG272 unterscheidet sich vom BVG-NL202 doch recht stark (andere Sitze, der Gelenkwagen ist aus der zweiten Generation, der Solowagen aber aus der ersten usw.), weshalb diverse Anpassungen nötig wären.

Welches Baujahr baut ihr nach? - Wir bauen erstmal (und sehr wahrscheinlich nur) den GN92, weil es die einzige sandgelbe Serie bei der BVG war. Zur Not tut es ja auch ein Repaint! ;) (wenn wir gnädig sind, spendieren wir noch einen NG272 mit Systemsitzen, wenn wir den NL202 auch bauen).


Welches Getriebe bekommt er? - Die Berliner Version, die wir jetzt gerade bauen, hatte Voith-4-Gang-Getriebe. ZF ist zwar melodisch, aber wäre unrealistisch, also nein (für die Berliner Variante). Alles weitere siehe unten!

Bekommt der NG272 die Berliner Türsteuerung (Automatik-Hintertüren)? - Die im Bau befindliche Version ist der Berliner NG272 und der hatte die gleiche Türsteuerung wie aus den Doppeldeckern bekannt, Elektrotüren übrigens. Alles weitere siehe unten.

Bekommt er einen Fahrscheindrucker? - Steht noch nicht ganz fest, aber ich glaube, es wären zuviele Nutzer traurig, wenn es GAR keine Version des NG272 MIT Fahrscheindrucker gäbe, stimmts? Aber zum Auslieferungszustand hat er eigentlich noch die Fahrscheinblöcke gehabt.

Was bekommt er für eine Anzeige? - Die 1992er NG272, die an die BVG ausgeliefert wurden, hatten ursprünglich alle Krüger-Vollmatrizen; so werden sie auch nachgebaut. Alle Fotos mit ANNAX sind entweder gebrauchte Zukäufe oder aber umgerüstete.

Bekommt er Rampe und Hublift? - Es liegen einige etwas spärliche Infos über den Hublift vor. Es sollte also möglich sein, den NG272 mit einer Rampe hinten und einem Hublift vorne vorbildgerecht auszustatten...!

Bekommt er elektrische oder manuelle Dachluken? - Unser Vorbildwagen hatte die ganz einfachen (kleineren) manuellen Luken (nichtmal die mit dem Drehgriff), also bekommt auch der in OMSI diese Luken.

Wird es vielleicht noch weitere Versionen geben (durchgehende Frontscheibe, andere Türsteuerung, Viertürer, alte Version mit durchgehender Fensterlinie) ? - Vielleicht. Aber erstmal bauen wir die Berliner Version.

Werden die Fahrgäste nur vorne einsteigen? - Kommt auf die Version an. Die Auslieferung erfolgte ohne Türöffnungstaster, bei der natürlich ja! ;) Falls wir auch eine spätere Version nachbilden, werden sie vielleicht auch hinten einsteigen.

Wird es einen Warnton + Knickschutz geben? - Ja!

Wird der Motorsound leiser sein als bei den Doppeldeckern aufgrund der Fahrzeuglänge? - Wir vertrauen da auf unsere Soundengine, die den Sound alleine durch die größere Entfernung zum Motor bereits automatisch leiser machen sollte! ;)

Bekommt der NG272 die elektronische Luftfederregelung und Kneeling? - Ja, bekommt er beides, hatte auch das Vorbild.

Kommt man Freudstr. durch die Wendeschleife? - Ja! :)

Here you'll find the FAQ to the MAN NG 272 from the developers.

When is the release? - Our golden rule: It's finish when it's finished. Deadlines are really hard to stick to anyway!

Freeware / how much will it cost? - Whether this is going to be released as freeware or payware, hasn't been decided yet. So the answer is unknown.
Will the NL202 (the single-deck) released as well? - We don't know yet. The BVG type of the NG 272 differs a lot (like other seats, the articulated van is in 2nd generation, but the standard bus is first version, and so on), so we will have to change a lot in order to make it realistic.

Which construction year will the bus be released from? First (and maybe only) the GN 92, because these are the only series from BVG, which came in BVG-yellow color. Anyway, you can just suit yourself with a repaint! ;) (If we think so - we will offer another NG 272 with other seats, though only if we will build the NL 202 too! ;) )

Which gearbox will be used? - The BVG - version, like that we are building, used a VOITH 4 gear box. Maybe the ZF is the more melodic, but it would be quite unrealistic, so no (as for the Berlin - version). Else see below.

Will the NG 272 have the "BVG" - door handling? - The current version built uses the same door handling as the double decker's - electric doors.

Will the NG 272 use a ticket print-machine? - Not sure yet. But I think much users would be sad, if there would be no version of the NG 272 with ticket printer, right? ;) Anyway, at that time, no NG 272 had ticket printers. They used the ticket blocks.

Which matrix will it have? - The 1992 NG 272, which was delivered to the BVG, used KRÜGER-matrix - so this is,how we will build them. Any pictures with an ANNAX are rentables, resold, or retrofitted vehicles.

Will the NG 272 have a wheelchair ramp and a lift? - There is only minimal information about the lift (but at least, there is some!) - so it should be possible to fit that ramp in front and a lift in the back into the NG 272...!
Will the NG 272 have manual or electric working roof hatches? - Our example bus used the simple, smaller, manual roof hatches (they haven't even got a lift lever), so the OMSI bus will have these.

Will there be other versions (like one-part-window screen, another door handling, four-door vehicle, old NG version with low window-line)? - Maybe. But first we will build the Berlin-version.

Will the passengers only enter the bus at the front door? - Depends on the version of the bus. The release model didn't have the door buttons, so in this case - yes, sure! ;) IF we will rebuild a later version, they will maybe be able to enter through the back doors as well.

Will there be a warning sound for the articulated maximum turning - and an overturn prevent function? - Yes!

Would that engine sound be quieter than the double decker sound due to the vehicle length? - Well, we trust our sound engine there - it will fit that automatically! ;)

Will the NG 272 have ECAS (Air Suspension Ride) and kneeling? - Yes, both - like the original.

Will it fit to the Turnaround in Freudstr. ? - YES! ;)
