Request to those that edit road pieces in the Crossing Editor

I appreciate all the hard work people do creating maps. I'm making a map myself from scratch (if you want pics say so and I'll put some in the screenshots thread... If there is one here) and I've downloaded several addons which contain additional or modified road bits like the HeiligenGeistKamp (it's in Simple). If you load it up you'll notice the path directions are completely discombobulated and the exit pieces don't even line up. This piece has MANY path pieces and because I have a difficult time believing that the developers (this SCO could have a vanilla origin) would not finish/fix these things before using them in game (lest they not work) I assume (I COULD BE WRONG) that it's because the creator(s) of Simple Streets (where I found it) failed to ensure that the pieces were pathed correctly.
Since many of the pieces in the pack have this problem, it introduced to the job of creating the map I'm making many unpleasant hindrances because I now have to check every piece I intend to use to make sure it's configured properly.
So my request to those that create/release packs of modified puzzle pieces please be sure to put the effort into ensuring that all of your pieces are pathed correctly. Then if it breaks it's my fault. I'm complaining because this interchange is an integral part of my map and it has cost me two days fixing that and every other piece I need to use.

Can you make a screenshot or a small graphic to show us an example of a wrong path? (including the crossing's name)

By the way, you are (in my eyes) only talking about SimpleStreets, so why don't you post it in it's thread so the author can find this? You can tell us errors in the crossings but they are not caused by bad tests. You can have 5 people checking an Omsi addon and there will still be mistakes missed.

:pinch: My bad! I'm kinda new here and I didn't know this was it's home. I posted in this thread because while I only find the piece I referred to in Simple, there are many other pieces that are duplicated in 3rd party packs (packs using modified versions of the items in Simple), and since I have inadvertently broken some pieces myself in the past (requiring unnecessary re-installs) my target was more people like me who modify and know less about some minor details rather than those that made it and probably already know better.
I have already fixed and overwritten the original file, but you can get an example of what I'm talking about if you place the interchange then attach road pieces to the exit points. The alignments are kinda gimpy, at at one the only spline that's made to fit it is a two way road. ironically none of the one lane roads were used to align the paths of the one lane exits. Instead two lane roads were used and I think one of them is aligned to the wrong direction. So in-game cars were suddenly coming at me!
On a side note, can you suggest a thread (doesn't have to be here) that explains editing/creating splines? For example if I want to take a road spline that has two lanes and reduce it to one, or change how the path moves along the spline. Similar to how can do in the crossing editor.

Maybe you can take the german SDK manual for this and use google translator.

I have the English version of the manual. Nowhere in it is any reference to the Crossing Editor. It mentions one line about the ability to edit the traffic light cycles in the Crossing editor, but neither does it name the Crossing Editor nor does it say that a separate editor is needed. It also doesn't say anything about editing the direction, orientation, adding or removing of the paths on the "drag-able" splines. Does the Does the German version talk about these things? Is there German documentation for the crossing editor or the other editors in the SDK folder?

It is very difficult and troublesome to copy from the PDF, and since I can't read German I have no idea what I'm looking for, thus compounding the problem of finding the information I need. The game has been around for long enough that I'm assuming there is no intention of making English version of the manual that includes the information I need. Can you suggest a place where I can ask some questions and get some help? I'd like to learn and contribute and be a part of the community... even if I am a foreigner.
Your Teltow map is what inspired me to begin making my own map and I want to do a good job. Since I currently belong to the loathed class of stupid newbies that run around wasting the time of experienced people by asking a plethora of stupid meaningless and annoying questions, I (will) have lots of questions. They won't talk to me at Playglobe (small clique of pirates) which is the only other place where there are people that play this game and speak English that I have found so I came here looking for help. Sorry to have been a bother.

Thanks for everything.

From the SDK you have to read the Kreuzungen_1_02.pdf, I think you know that one german word. Inside, you can see at the pictures what step is done and you hopefully get the part you are interested in.

A place to ask is already here. But you need a general knowledge about the editor. We can only answer small questions.
