AI Spline Awareness?

I have recently acquired a crossing-traffic helper editor thingy (see here), and I'm running into a problem where AI vehicles using the splines are not aware of the vehicles on the splines that cross them, so they end up crossing each other without crashing, instead they just go through each other. That tool is really neat, and I'm trying to use it to connect a 10-lane avenue with a 4-lane road, and I'd really like to use it on a new map... Is there any way to change that?

Also, is it possible to add in a traffic rule that requires the AI to use a certain turn signal (i.e. left or right)? This would also be helpful.

In the traffic rules in Omsi editor you can set higher (lower) priority for paths. A car on a normal priority path should wait for a car on a higher priority path. But it won't work in 100% of the cases.

To set the turn signals you must go into the crossing editor. You can set blinkers for each path.
